Pramollo Project

The aggregative structure of the “village” is characterized by some basic elements of its language, which can be summarized as follows:
a) repetitive typologies;
b) building continuity;
c) presence of common areas or those perceived as such: the courtyard, the square;
d) presence of roads and fences.

The area is currently already urbanized, and a comprehensive intervention could contribute to redeveloping the entire area, also creating high-quality common spaces and green areas.

Within the former barracks complex, it is proposed that a portion of the planned residential accommodation could also be used as a tourist hotel, modeled after a scattered hotel, but reconfigured to create a much more unified structure. It is also proposed to create a riding club, which would enhance the municipality’s attractive potential and promote the use of the agricultural/forestry landscape. This would also include potential medical and social uses (hippotherapy, training, etc.), activities that would extend the housing availability, increase employment potential, and other tourist-related activities. Furthermore, it would also provide opportunities for residents and other visitors to the Pontebba and Canale Valley area to grow and participate in these activities.
